SHIRT COLORS
We've compiled these shirt color swatches ourselves, since the ones we have available from the manufacturers are often way off. These swatches are a pretty close representation of shirt color, however the exact color you see will depend on your specific monitor and color settings. When in doubt, feel free to email us for a verbal description. PLEASE NOTE THAT DESIGNS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE 1 to 6 SHIRT COLOR CHOICES MENTIONED DIRECTLY UNDER THE IMAGE OF THAT DESIGN, not in the entire color selection shown on this swatch sheet.
CARE OF TIEDYES AND GARMENT-WASHED ITEMS
Please read if you've never owned a tiedyed or garment-washed (aka pigment-dyed, aka hand-dyed) item before.
We use only premium quality tiedyes and garment-washed tshirts. Tiedyed and garment-washed shirts WILL bleed a bit for the first few washings, so please be sure to wash them separately at first in cool or warm water, and then with bright colors, never with whites. Brighter and darker colors tend to bleed the most. Especially with garment-washed items, and especially before the first couple of washes, you should avoid spot washing or scrubbing a stain, or you could end up with a lighter area. Your best bet is to wash the entire garment before the stain sets, or try a spray-on brush-off spot lifter (we've had success with these but be sure to try out on a hidden area first, and be gentle while brushing off).
CLOTHING MEASUREMENTS
It's nearly impossible to find measurements for clothing online, but pretty difficult to shop without an idea of how the sizes run. For your convenience, we're providing you with an average range of measurements so you can measure a similar item you like the fit of, and compare--after you compare sizing on some of the items listed, you'll see why you don't want to just guess! The range was determined by taking measurements from a variety of brands that we carry--in most cases, the size falls about in the middle of the range.
SHORT-SLEEVED T-SHIRT (women's sizes)
Measured flat, width is from underarm to underarm, length is from back of neck to bottom hem. Width is similar to men's sizes, arms and body are shorter. Neck has a narrower band than men's, and is very slightly scooped.
SMALL: 17 to 18 inches wide, 24.5 to 26 inches long
MEDIUM: 18.5 to 20.5 inches wide, 26 to 27 inches long
LARGE: 20.5 to 22 inches wide, 27 to 28 inches long
EXTRA LARGE (XL): 22.5 to 24.5 inches wide, 28 to 29 inches long

Width is similar to men's sizes, arms and body are shorter, and the shirt is lighter in weight than the men's. Neck is slightly scooped, and arms are not cuffed. Will shrink slightly if washed or dried at higher temperatures.

TANK TOP (women's sizes)
A small number of our designs are available in tank tops--most are listed on our sale pages or below the thumbnail of a particular design. Approximate measurements given here are for an Anvil ladies tank top, which are the majority of tank tops we stock. Measured flat, width is underarm to underarm, back is from back of neck to bottom hem. Cut fairly high under the arm (higher than Gildan or Hanes Her Way) so your bra is unlikely to show. Neck is slightly scooped. Body is a straight athletic cut, not fitted or cropped.

Most of our tshirts are 100% cotton, and some brands may shrink slightly if washed and dried at higher temperatures, others tend not to. (The majority of shirts nowadays are labeled 'preshrunk', however some brands are more so than others... if the exact size is very important to you, please ask when you email us your order if this is a brand that may shrink a bit so you can take that into account.)

MORE INFO ABOUT OUR T-SHIRTS
Beauty of the Beasts tshirts are high-quality, heavyweight 100% cotton--we only use premium brands such as Gildan®, Anvil®, and Hanes®. Ash and heather grey shirts always include a small percentage of nylon (usually about 10%). Women's tees tend to be slightly lighter in weight than the men's; garment-washed tees tend to be slightly heavier in weight than most.
Our designs are always silkscreened (also known as screenprinting or direct printing) by a professional screenprinter). We do not use iron-ons or transfers.
EXCHANGE/RETURN POLICY
We guarantee your satisfaction. You may return any item for exchange or refund (less shipping) within 60 days of receipt of your order. If your return is due to a defect in the item (i.e. a faulty seam in a shirt), we will of course pay the shipping. Please email us for return details. To avoid the chance of ordering your garment in too large or too small a size, please take a moment to compare our measurements with a comparable garment you like the fit of.
